Tag cloud view

Visualize recurring tags, words, or emoji so a group can debrief themes faster.

The Tag cloud view helps facilitators see patterns in a busy workshop board.

It can visualize recurring tags, themes, or emoji from participant cards. When tags are available, the cloud becomes a fast way to debrief themes without manually sorting every card.

What it helps with

Use the Tag cloud view to:

  • spot recurring themes after many participants contribute,
  • open a theme and review the matching cards,
  • connect a debrief back to participants' original wording,
  • move from a large set of cards to a focused group conversation.

With auto-tagging

The Tag cloud view is especially useful with auto-tagging.

Auto-tagging can suggest tags as cards arrive. The Tag cloud view then turns those tags into a visual map of the conversation, so the facilitator can quickly choose which themes to explore.

Word Cloud vs Tag cloud

Use the Word Cloud view when you want repeated words from participant cards to emerge naturally.

Use the Tag cloud view when you want to debrief tags or broader themes, especially when auto-tagging has helped label the cards.

Good uses

  • large retrospectives,
  • brainstorming debriefs,
  • training feedback,
  • webinar questions,
  • any activity where many short cards arrive quickly.
