1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Stormz, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the platform.
These Terms apply to all users, including invited account holders, facilitators, guests, event participants, testers, administrators, and visitors.
2. Purpose of the Platform
Stormz is a facilitation-first SaaS platform for running live collaborative workshops, events, activities, voting sessions, classification exercises, AI-assisted workflows, and related workshop operations.
Stormz is operated by Stormz SAS, a French company. Company details are available on the Legal Information page.
3. Invitation-Only Alpha Access
Stormz is currently an invitation-only alpha service. Access is granted at our discretion for product testing, feedback, experimentation, and early workshop usage.
We may refuse, suspend, revoke, limit, or modify access at any time, with or without notice, especially for security, misuse, operational, product, or alpha-testing reasons.
Alpha access does not create any entitlement to future access, commercial plans, continued availability, specific features, support levels, data retention, or migration paths.
4. No Paid Service During Alpha
Stormz currently has no paid plans, subscriptions, in-app purchases, billing relationship, payment provider, refund policy, or paid service-level commitment.
If Stormz later introduces paid access, paid plans, professional services, or commercial contracts, those may be governed by updated terms, order forms, invoices, or separate agreements.
5. Age Requirement
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account or use Stormz as an identified participant. By using the platform, you represent that you meet this requirement.
6. Account and Access Responsibility
You are responsible for:
- The accuracy of information you provide
- Keeping login links, invitations, access passes, and credentials secure
- All activity performed through your account, invitation, or event session
- Ensuring that people you invite or admit to a workshop are allowed to participate
Do not share access credentials, invitation links, or private workshop links with unauthorized people. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
7. Facilitator and Participant Responsibilities
Facilitators and workspace administrators are responsible for how they design, run, record, export, and share workshops. This includes giving appropriate instructions, obtaining participant consent where needed, and complying with confidentiality, employment, client, education, meeting, or organizational rules that apply to their context.
Participants are responsible for the content they submit and for respecting the rules set by the facilitator, event organizer, and applicable law.
8. User Content and Ownership
You retain ownership of the cards, workshop materials, images, text, documents, classifications, votes, and other content you create or upload to Stormz, subject to any rights belonging to your employer, client, organization, or other third party.
You grant Stormz a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, display, transmit, and technically adapt your content solely as needed to operate, secure, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the platform.
You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to upload, process, and share the content you put into Stormz.
9. Prohibited Content and Use
The following content and activity are prohibited:
- Illegal content or activity under applicable law
- Content that infringes copyright, trademark, trade secret, privacy, or other third-party rights
- Hate speech, harassment, threats, incitement to violence, or discriminatory content
- Sexual content involving minors or any exploitative content
- Malware, phishing, spam, credential harvesting, scraping abuse, or attempts to disrupt the service
- Unauthorized access, reverse engineering, security probing, or circumvention of access controls
- Use that violates meeting, workplace, confidentiality, or participant consent obligations
We may remove content, disable links, suspend access, or terminate accounts without prior notice when we believe these Terms are violated or when needed to protect Stormz, users, participants, or third parties.
10. Copyright and Legal Requests
If you believe content on Stormz infringes your rights, contact us using the information on the Legal Information page.
Please include identification of the protected work, the location of the allegedly infringing content, your contact information, and a statement explaining why you believe the use is unauthorized.
11. Alpha Version Disclaimers
Stormz is in active alpha development. You acknowledge and accept the following:
- Features may change, break, disappear, or be redesigned without notice.
- Workshops, events, accounts, invitations, data models, URLs, APIs, exports, and integrations may change during development.
- We may reset, delete, migrate, or archive alpha data when needed to improve the product or keep the service maintainable.
- We may interrupt the service for maintenance, debugging, experiments, security reasons, infrastructure issues, or product changes.
- Stormz is not intended for emergency, safety-critical, medical, legal, financial, compliance-critical, or other mission-critical use.
- You should keep your own notes, exports, screenshots, or backups for any workshop material you cannot afford to lose.
12. Data, Backups, and Exports
Stormz is not a backup service or archive. You are responsible for maintaining independent copies of workshop material, decisions, reports, participant information, or records that are important to you.
During alpha, export, deletion, recovery, retention, and migration capabilities may be incomplete, experimental, or unavailable. Data may be lost, corrupted, reset, or deleted as part of product development, security response, debugging, infrastructure changes, or maintenance.
For information on how personal data is collected and processed, see the Privacy Policy.
13. AI, Meeting Bots, and Automated Outputs
Stormz may include optional AI-assisted features and meeting-bot features. These may process prompts, workshop content, images, participant names, meeting metadata, transcripts, or other context needed to provide the requested feature.
During alpha, Stormz may provide AI tokens, credits, quotas, or similar usage allowances at no cost for normal product testing and legitimate workshop use. These allowances have no cash value, are not transferable, do not create any paid entitlement, and may be changed, reduced, reset, suspended, or removed at any time.
You must not abuse AI allowances, including by automating excessive requests, using multiple accounts or invitations to bypass limits, reselling access, generating spam or harmful content, attempting to extract models or data, or using the service in a way that creates unreasonable cost, load, security, legal, or provider-policy risk. We may monitor usage patterns, apply rate limits, block requests, reduce quotas, require additional verification, suspend AI access, or suspend platform access to prevent abuse.
AI and automated outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, offensive, unsafe, or unsuitable for your context. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on, publishing, sharing, or acting on them.
If you use meeting-bot or transcript features, you are responsible for ensuring that recording, transcription, bot attendance, and participant notification/consent are lawful and appropriate in your jurisdiction and meeting context.
14. Third-Party Services and External Links
Stormz may rely on third-party services for:
- hosting and realtime infrastructure
- database and storage providers
- transactional email and contact-list providers
- anti-abuse and security providers
- meeting-bot and transcript providers
- geocoding providers
- analytics providers such as Plausible
- AI gateways and model providers
These providers may have their own terms and privacy policies. Stormz is not responsible for third-party services, outages, policies, data handling, models, outputs, external websites, or links outside our control.
15. No Professional Advice
Stormz is a facilitation and collaboration tool. It does not provide legal, financial, medical, HR, compliance, psychological, safety, or other regulated professional advice. Any workshop outcome, vote, AI output, template, activity, or suggestion should be reviewed by qualified people before decisions are made.
16. No Guarantee of Availability or Performance
Stormz is provided under an obligation of means, not an obligation of results. We do not guarantee continuous availability, response times, data permanence, compatibility, uptime, security perfection, accuracy, or error-free operation.
The platform may be unavailable because of maintenance, bugs, infrastructure failures, provider outages, security events, experiments, abuse prevention, or product changes.
17. Warranty Disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stormz and all content, services, features, integrations, AI outputs, meeting-bot outputs, documentation, templates, and alpha functionality are provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE”, without warranty of any kind.
We disclaim all express, implied, and statutory warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, reliability, security, availability, and suitability for your needs.
18. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stormz SAS, its officers, employees, contractors, and agents are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive, or business damages, including loss of data, revenue, profit, goodwill, reputation, opportunities, workshop outcomes, or business interruption.
Because Stormz is currently free during alpha, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid to Stormz for the service in the previous twelve months or one hundred euros (€100), except where such limitation is prohibited by law.
19. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Stormz SAS, its officers, employees, contractors, and agents from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the platform, your content, your workshop operations, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of third-party rights.
20. Support
Alpha support is provided at our discretion and without guaranteed response time. We may prioritize security, reliability, product learning, and invited-user feedback. We are not obligated to provide training, consulting, data recovery, custom development, or workshop facilitation services.
21. Termination
You may stop using Stormz at any time. We may suspend or terminate access, disable invitations, remove content, or close accounts if we believe these Terms are violated, access is misused, the alpha changes direction, or continued access creates legal, security, operational, or product risk.
Termination does not create any right to compensation, refund, future access, data migration, or continued feature availability.
22. Modifications to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. When changes are made, the “Last updated” date will be revised. Continued use of Stormz after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
23. Assignment
You may not transfer, assign, or delegate your rights or obligations under these Terms without prior written consent. Stormz may assign these Terms to a successor in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar transaction.
24. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
25. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any other policies referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and Stormz regarding your use of the platform, unless a separate written agreement applies.
26. Force Majeure
Stormz is not liable for failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, acts of government, war, labor disputes, internet outages, cyberattacks, infrastructure failures, provider outages, or legal restrictions.
27. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by French law. Any dispute falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Cergy-Pontoise, Val-d’Oise, France, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
28. Contact and Legal Information
