Manage your subscription

Manage billing details, invoices, cancellation, reactivation, and payment problems.

Use Manage subscription for billing details, payment methods, invoices, and cancellation. Use Change subscription to change packages or designer seats.

Both actions are on Account Plan when you have a supported paid subscription. For current prices and plan limits, see Stormz pricing.

Open billing management

  1. Sign in and open Account Plan.
  2. Click Manage subscription to open Stripe's billing portal.
  3. Choose the billing task you need and follow Stripe's instructions.
  4. Return to Account Plan to check any subscription-status changes.

The portal handles payment methods, billing details, invoices, cancellation, and reactivation. It does not change your Stormz package or designer quantity.

Updating a default payment method in the portal may not replace the payment method already attached to your current subscription. If a payment still uses the old method or fails, follow Stripe's payment-recovery instructions or contact support.

Cancel a subscription

Open Manage subscription, choose the cancellation action, and review the end date Stripe shows before confirming.

When Account Plan shows Cancels at period end, your current plan remains available through the paid period. Cancellation is different from an immediate seat reduction: scheduling cancellation does not immediately lower your capacity or allowances.

Once cancellation takes effect, Account Plan shows Canceled and the paid plan ends. Workspaces without an active plan become unavailable. Your workshop data is preserved, and you can still download workshops from workspaces you own.

Keep or restart a subscription

If you've scheduled cancellation but the subscription hasn't ended, open Manage subscription and use the reactivation action. Check that Account Plan no longer shows Cancels at period end before trying to change your package or designer quantity.

If cancellation has already taken effect, use Choose a plan on Account Plan to start a new subscription. See Choose a plan for the checkout steps.

For example, if you've canceled because you don't expect to run more workshops, but a new booking arrives before the subscription ends, reactivate the existing subscription rather than starting another checkout.

Resolve payment or status problems

Account Plan shows the subscription status reported by Stripe:

  • Payment issue: a payment needs attention. Open billing management and follow Stripe's instructions to resolve it.
  • Payment pending: complete the payment before making another subscription change. A change in progress may send you to Stripe's payment page.
  • Paused: contact support if you're unsure how to resume the subscription.
  • Needs review: Stormz couldn't confirm the account's plan. Contact support rather than attempting another purchase.

A package change or seat increase that still requires payment does not grant the new capacity until payment is confirmed.

After paying on Stripe's invoice page, you may need to return to Account Plan yourself. Refresh it if the old state is still displayed. If payment succeeded but the plan doesn't update, or Manage subscription isn't available when you need billing help, contact support.
