Meeting Bot

Let Stormz capture ideas from a live video meeting and turn them into workshop cards.

Meeting Bot is an early Stormz feature for live video meetings.

A facilitator can start a bot from the workshop sidebar. The bot joins the meeting, listens for configured contribution triggers, and uses AI to turn matching chat messages or spoken contributions into workshop cards.

What it helps with

Meeting Bot is useful when you want participants to contribute without changing tools during a live call.

For example, in a Zoom retrospective, participants can type ideas in the Zoom chat. Stormz can capture those ideas and add them to the workshop board, so participants do not always need to open Stormz to contribute.

Current scope

The current implementation is an early POC:

  • the facilitator starts and stops the bot,
  • the UI currently focuses on Zoom meeting URLs,
  • chat capture can process Zoom chat messages,
  • optional voice transcription can process spoken contributions,
  • AI extraction creates workshop cards from matching triggers,
  • generated cards are added to the live workshop board.

Good uses

  • webinars where chat is the main participation channel,
  • remote retrospectives,
  • trainings with many lightweight contributions,
  • meetings where opening another tool would slow people down.

More detail on setup, trigger modes, and limitations is coming soon.
