Make your workshop flow with automations
Automations let Stormz react as contributions arrive. A card can become an image, gain useful tags, appear on a map, or match the workshop language without interrupting the conversation.
When a participant creates a card, Stormz can run one or more actions on it. You choose the actions and their order for each activity.
Available actions
- Generate image from text — create an image from the card text.
- Transform card to image — turn a card that already contains an image into an image card.
- Resolve location from text — find a place and prepare the card for a map.
- Auto-tag card — add useful tags based on the card text.
- Translate to workshop language — translate when the card uses another language.
- Proofread text — correct spelling and grammar without changing the idea.
- Index cards for related search — prepare card text so you can find similar contributions.
Set up an automation
- Open AI & Automations from the Facilitator Bar.
- Find When a card is created.
- Turn on the actions you need.
- Drag them into the order you want.
- Select Save & Close.
The settings apply to the current activity. You can use different automations in another activity.
Keep the order simple
Order matters when one action uses the result of another. For example, translate a card before proofreading it if you want the final text checked in the workshop language.
Start with one or two actions. Add more only when they help the activity.
AI Credits
Some actions use AI Credits. If the current-period AI Credit allowance is too low, Stormz keeps the participant's card and skips the paid action.
