Discuss your own stacking rules with an AI assistant and create stacks over several rounds.

Why stack cards with an AI assistant?

The AI stacking menu inside Stormz is fast, but uses built-in rules.

With Claude or ChatGPT, you can discuss your own stacking strategy and refine it over several rounds. For example, pair problems with solutions, or stack opposing ideas together for discussion.

This takes longer, but gives you more control over the strategy. You still need to check the result.

Connect your assistant

Follow Connect Claude AI and ChatGPT to Stormz. You need permission to facilitate the workshop.

The connection uses MCP, which lets your assistant read and change Stormz cards with your permission.

Discuss, then create the stacks

Name the workshop, activity, and cards to use. The assistant may read cards hidden from your current screen.

Start with a request such as:

Read the cards in the Improvement ideas activity of my Team retrospective workshop. Suggest stacks pairing each problem with one existing solution. Leave unclear matches and existing stacks alone. Explain your choices. Do not change anything yet.

Review the suggestions and refine them:

This solution does not address that problem. Keep those cards separate. Put the problem card first in the other stacks.

When you are ready:

Create the stacks we agreed on. Leave all other cards unchanged.

You can work in several rounds, or approve a clear task without requiring confirmation for each stack. Your assistant's settings may still ask for approval.

Check the result in Stormz

Open the stacks using their count stickers. You can change the top card, remove cards, or separate a stack by hand.

If an action fails, ask the assistant to read the cards again before retrying. Some stacks may already be saved.

Good to know

The connector can create or combine stacks of up to 50 cards. Including a card from an existing stack includes that whole stack.
Use Stormz directly to reorder cards or separate a stack.
If activities share cards, changes to their stacks affect those activities too.
Your conversation uses your assistant's plan. Creating stacks through the connector does not use Stormz AI Credits.
